About Boreal Contractors
Boreal Contractors was formed in 2015, as a Corporation under Arizona state laws and headed by John D Quense and Joseph I Quense. They grew up in the multifamily finish industry, as their father and uncle managed a company in the industry.
They have grown to supply and manage the installation of Countertops, Millwork, Shower Surrounds, Shower Doors and other products to Multifamily projects of 100 units and over. They have currently tripled sales each year since starting in 2015.
They have been working in this industry for many years. They pay close attention to design details, and will only provide you with what will best suit your needs.

We founded Boreal to change the way construction takes place on a sub-contractor level. As we have grown up working in this industry, we were able to clearly see that we would be able to provide something that the industry did not have. We worked for six years studying the specific multifamily construction industry, along with business management, finance management, logistics and the intricate world of import.

Meet The Team
John Quense
Founder / Director of Administration
John Quense worked in finance assisting business owners with their business structures and financial needs. He has been at the start of three different companies, including Boreal. To prepare for starting Boreal, John obtained positions in construction management in order to better understand the industry. He worked for two years prior to opening the doors at Boreal with his brother Joe.
Joe Quense
Founder / Director of Operations
Joe Quense studied construction management as a part of obtaining his Bachelor degree. He then went on to manage the facilitation of interior finishes in multifamily projects for the next five years prior to joining his brother, John, in Arizona to open the doors of Boreal. Since Joe co-founded Boreal, he has been instrumental in creating and managing systems for the ever changing needs of the construction industry.
Mike Quense
Acquisition / Sourcing / Account Management
Michael Quense worked in the New Jersey/New York area managing relationships and selling materials for Cosentino (an international surface provider), along with other companies, developing their portfolios and expanding their networks. As Boreal has grown over the years, he decided to move out to Arizona and join the team. He has helped Boreal continue to double if not triple its growth in the past couple of years.
Joe Guido
Project Administration / Data & Technology
Joe Guido, like Joe Quense, has worked in construction management. He managed many large multifamily family projects prior to joining the Boreal team. He has helped with business development and building technology to better manage off-site work for the company owners, as well as, the owners of the projects. Joe has been crucial to Boreal's growth in keeping constant tabs on every project and always finding ways for staying ahead of the industry's needs.
